Austin Ink

Here are a few pictures from my excitement from yesterday. This is something that I've been wanting to get for a while now, from one of the Vital Flenker Tracks, "Concierto de Aranjuez." It's the first few bars (I originally wanted more of it, but it would've ended up bigger than I was wanting, and a lot more expensive. A lot more expensive.), along with a couple of figures from the cover art of Sketches of Spain, the album the song appears on.

If you can't tell, this is on my upper right arm, wrapping around. It's neato, at least I think so. And just to show it, here's the tattoo that I had gotten many many years ago.

It's on my back, right between my shoulder blades. Yes, it's from a video game, I know. It means a little more than just that, it's also representative of a band I was in at the time, and just a big part of my life. But that's something for a different post. For now, I need to get off of the computer and go to bed. Let me know what you think, though!

Did you take the picture of the tattoo on your back yourself? Is that a file photo? If you did take it by yourself I'm quite impressed. Music makes sweet ass tattoos, that's for sure.

jayne - thank you very much!

h - the picture of my back was taken by my roommate, Big Texas. I zoomed and cropped a little bit, as I had some weird pattern on my back from sitting on a wicker chair

whiskey - thanks! Although I'm not quite sure if I live up to the Mr. Badass name, I'll try my best to do so

Nice, Flenker. That's pretty sweet. I'm still searching for that one, timeless thing to preserve as a tattoo, but it's just so hard to decide on.

I love the be-inking of your parts, but more importantly, I want a roommate named Big Texas.
