Like the part where the captain is dealing with the farmers is over the top, but not unnecessary, it showed how brutal he could be. The leg part, though, I felt was unnecessary.

Also, I think I laughed the hardest at "I googled murder" and the whole scene with the chairs in Vegas. Those were both pretty awesome.

whiskey - Thank you!Flenkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17978621695330177014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38876435.post-89302073566164558602007-07-06T15:26:00.000-06:002007-07-06T15:26:00.000-06:00It's your thumbs-up and you can do it any way you ...It's your thumbs-up and you can do it any way you want.
So there.Whiskeymariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16680444919622976790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38876435.post-30301582280920732972007-07-06T11:23:00.000-06:002007-07-06T11:23:00.000-06:00First, isn't 'over the top' pretty much the same a...First, isn't 'over the top' pretty much the same as 'unnecessary'?? As far as placing it into the general fantasy genre- you already know what I have to say about that. The only redeeming quality of the Labyrinth is Bowie's package and I refuse to see Dark Crystal, etc. Boo hiss to you for reducing this film to that level!

P.S. I googled murder and my fist tastes like rainbow.Marinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10914656877238595245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38876435.post-14001576112547372352007-07-06T10:25:00.000-06:002007-07-06T10:25:00.000-06:00Your fear of puppets weirds me out. I could understand being scared of scary puppets, but the the puppets in The Sound of Music? COME ON. =)Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14429418365969130599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38876435.post-73302987155929961512007-07-05T23:13:00.000-06:002007-07-05T23:13:00.000-06:00mr t - I don't think that you pumped it up too muc...mr t - I don't think that you pumped it up too much to me. And I know the faun was supposed to be creepy, and it came off well. I'm just saying that I generally don't like characters like that in any movie, they really kind of freak me out. I also don't like puppets. I had nightmares about the puppet show in The Sound of Music. Seriously. I can see how you like it, it was a very well-done movie, shot beautifully. It was just not my style.Flenkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17978621695330177014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38876435.post-46007879519375017942007-07-05T19:49:00.000-06:002007-07-05T19:49:00.000-06:00I guess if you don't like fantasy you then won't l...I guess if you don't like fantasy you then won't like Pan's Labyrinth. I hope I didn't pump it up too much. As for the faun being creepy well he was supposed to be. I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one.MrThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03411543304597887031noreply@blogger.com
